OK.... for some strange reason the beach pics from like forever ago are finally uploading (and ive tried like 4 billion times). This is the beach up a ways from my place, like a 15 minute drive north. And just on the other side of that sand cliff is a strip mall, and a highway. Its so strange to have something so beautiful by something so .. urban. 
Here is the picture of the parasailer or glider or whatever the hell theyre called.

I want to try it, but I dont think christopher is a big fan of that idea.
And those are some of the pictures of the beach. I got a new camera for my birthday (thanks mom), so im guessing the next few posts will be picture happy. Providing i can get this uploading thing to work again.

hey hey.. im glad things are going well in NZ -- things are crazy here... getting ready for the much anticipated move, setting up utilites and what not. And no, there isnt a wreck beach here that i know about, and we are both wearing bathing suits in that shot... at least I am. Ill post soon on your LJ. promise.
hey.. i was wondering how you were, i havent seen ya in a while. The weekend we took those pics was the only weekend since ive been here that was sunny the whole time. Mostly, its foggy till around 3 here every day, then it burns off. Really we havent had many days hotter than 70 and it stays mostly in the 60s. So much for that cali sun i was hoping for this summer. You should get out and hit the beach before school is back in, or youll be extra bummed.

If i had the interest id convert it to C for ya, as i yet havent figured out the conversions by memory. But, i figured that YOU Mr k. of all people would probably have that memorized. Im guessing that it barely makes it past the low 20s. As far as gallons to liters, i still dont have a clue. Furthermore, the first time i went to safeway to get sandwich meat at the deli and i asked the girl for 500grams she looked at me like i was an alien. They do straight up pounds here for deli shit... 1/4 lbs 1/2 pound etc etc.
Furthermore furthermore, i put those damn beach pics up for you, and all you can do is tease me about my measuring units? .. sheeesh.

we both think you should do it. the paragliding that is, it's safer than taking a bus ... statistically.
