yay

Just to let you all know, Christopher passed his Dari test. Of those that were left in the class, they ALL passed the DLTP. Its the first time in the history of the dari program that there was a 100% pass rate for the DPTP. So, he offically leaves July 5th. One week this comming thrusday -- this thursday is his graduation. His mom and step dad are comming into town for it, and staying for a few days. Then we have 5 days to pack up all his crap and get him off to texas. Hell stay there for a month or so, then he goes to Washington state. We meet up in Omaha October 15. Pretty crazy.

Other than that, things are same old here. Just got alot of life arrangement type things that were working on. Putting in our moving request, change of base info at the base... stuff like that. Been looking for places in Omaha through craigslist. Yay craigslist. Thats us in a nut shell.. missing you guys.. post a comment or something sometime you jackasses.

Wow. A whole year has gone by and your California Experience is at an end. In this time of passage, take some time and look back over the year. Think/talk about what you learn; about yourself, about chris, about being married, about being happy, and about life.

I don't know if Rachel follows the blog anymore but if she does let me wish her a, belated, happy birthday. If I Had Your Email Address I Would Send You A E-Card. Sorry, Guys. I didn't meant to speak in capitol letters but I do hate it when I actually know a birthday and can't say happy birthday. For most of my life I rarely know what day it is but now that I only get paid once a month, come the twenty-fifth, I start watching the calender.

Love you.

Glad to hear that things are going well. Congrats to your hubby. How are you going to feel when he leaves?

Please send me your email address. I've lost it and look at the comments for the last posting.

Sandie: is that sandie from SFU, or some other random sandie? If its sfu sandie, nice to hear from you. Being away from C for almost 4 months is going to suck. Its slowly hitting us both how long that is. For the first bit, we were both just so excited that he passed his test that we didnt really think about anything else. Now that hes leaving tomorrow morning, its hard to think of anything else. At least we will both have things to do. Hes gunna be taking several differnt classes, and im going to be packing and looking for a place in omaha. Anyway, we met apart.. so we have some experience with being far away from one another. So, at least its not totally new ground. At least we got things to do, and places to be.
Mom, things are good, and have been good for the last year. Its been great to live in such a beautiful place. Everyone is so friendly here, the weather great... and life has been really peacefull. Its hard to believe a full year has gone by, but it has... and its been really nice. Im looking forward to getting to omaha, putting in my work visa application, and getting off my ass to do something. Who ever thought id be ready to get to work.
